About Newstree

Newstree is being built to help readers follow important news stories beyond the headline. Our focus is India and the Indian diaspora, starting with communities in the UAE and GCC.

Our mission is to make fragmented and forgotten stories easier to understand through clear, latest-first timelines. Each update links to original reporting with a headline, a short attributed snippet, its source and timestamp. Full articles belong on publishers’ websites, not inside Newstree.

We are taking an Android-first approach, with a calm reading experience, individual story follows, and an English-first product with Hindi support planned. Respectful coverage and clear attribution guide the product, especially around sensitive events.
